Enugu State governor, Dr Peter Mbah has reiterated his administration's resolve to support genuine people oriented investments in order to create job opportunities and grow the state's economy exponentially.

Mbah re-echoed this on Monday during the official opening of Enugu office of the Afrinvest Company, a Nigerian capital market holding company that provides research content on the Nigerian market and an adviser to blue-chip companies across West Africa on international capital market transactions.

Performing the function, the governor, represented by the Deputy, Barr Ifeanyi Ossai, called on the Board of Directors and Management of the financial investment institution to further educate the public on the importance of investing for the future, and commended them for actualising the dream that was nurtured for over 30 years.

He further pledged that his administration will continue to provide a business and investment friendly atmosphere so as to attract both local and foreign investors and partners to the state.

Also, the Group Managing Director, Afrinvest West Africa Limited, Ike Chioke while appreciating the governor for making Enugu a premier destination for business, investment, tourism and living, explained that the company is active in five principal areas including investment banking, securities trading, asset management, private & corporate trust and investment research.

He noted that for over 25 years, Afrinvest has delivered financial advisory solutions to individuals and organisations with dedication, professionalism, and discretion.

Alongside other achievements, Afrinvest was the major shirt sponsor of 2023/2024 NPFL champions, Rangers International Football Club of Enugu.
