The Enugu State Economic Planning Commission rose from its first meeting in 2025 with a resolution to pursue the governorâs vision to create farm estates in all the 17 Local Government Areas of the state.
Briefing newsmen at the end of the meeting, at the Government House Enugu, the trio of the Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria, ALGON, Hon. Okechukwu Edeh, as well as the Chairman of Igbo Etiti LGA, Eric Odo, and his Udenu LGA counterpart, Aka Eze Aka, said the meeting also set a December 2025 deadline to end open defecation in all parts of the state.
