US and China reach agreement to cut tariffs, US treasury secretary says

The US and China have reached a deal to slash trade tariffs for 90 days, US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent announces.

Bessent says both sides will cut tariffs by 115% - the current US tariff on Chinese imports is 145%, while China charges 125% on some US good
